I wish I had more updates to give you on investigators and stuff, but the work has been pretty rough lately. We are working with this really cool family that said they are coming to conference next week, so hopefully that will be really good. But something I was thinking about this week as I was reading the New Testament was that Jesus Christ was the most rejected missionary of all time, but he was also the most successful. So rejection does not necessarily mean you are doing something wrong (Jesus Christ literally did nothing wrong). I know that everyone will always have the agency to accept of reject the message. Also there is an article in I think the August 2016 Liahona about a man who had cancer and he wanted Elder Bednar to give him a blessing. Before giving him the blessing Elder Bednar asked him a couple of questions, one of the was "Do you have the faith not to be healed?" I compared that to missionary work and asked myself "Do you have the faith not to find?" It is easy to have faith to find when you are already finding and everything is going well, but it is harder, and more necessary, to have that faith when things are not going quite the way to want them to. Also Dallin told me that his first transfer he only taught 4 lessons, so when I think of that I start to count my blessings.
We did have one miracle this week. we were going to contact this one road but because of the Mazu thing there was sooooooo many people so we decided to make some calls, and as we are making calls this member from Taipei calls us. (Background: this member is from our area but he goes to college in Taipei and was baptized up there 5 months ago. Also he brought us Krispy Kreme donuts but that isn't important). Anyways he calls us and tells us he has a friend that wants to meet with us right now (Which was great cause we were not having any success at all). So we met with him and he was super awesome. But sadly although he lived in our area, he goes to college somewhere else so he is pretty much there all of the time.
Well thank you so much for all of the prayers that you send my way! Love you all!!
